On 6 December 2013, following the death of Nelson Mandela the day before, a large crowd gathered in Nelson Mandela Place in Glasgow to hear speeches and music in commemoration of his life and legacy. We plan to erect a statue of him there, as a permanent reminder, inspiration and example. You can donate here.
