Fairpley and The Stand Comedy Club have organised a fundraising comedy night at The Stand in Glasgow on Wednesday 9 October, the 26th anniversary of Mandela’s visit in 1993 to receive the Freedom of Glasgow, Midlothian, Aberdeen, Dundee and five other local authorities from across the UK.
This is in aid of the Nelson Mandela Scottish Memorial Foundation, and tickets are available now for £12 from http://bit.ly/Mandelacomedy The night will be hosted by Susan Morrison, with Susie McCabe, JoJo Sutherland and Vladimir McTavish.
The Stand is at 333 Woodlands Rd, Glasgow G3 6NG, underneath the STUC building at the same address.
