Africa in Motion film festival 26 Oct – 4 Nov

Africa in Motion film festivalThis year’s Africa-in-Motion Film Festival features a number of films and events related to the Mandela Centenary.

The film, “Nelson Mandela: A True Pan-Africanist”, is being screened on Wednesday 31 October at the Edinburgh Filmhouse. This film documentary focuses on Mandela’s pan-African journeys and influences.

There will be a Q&A following the film with Director, Faith Isiakpere, and Producer, Firdoze Bulbulie. Brian Filling, chair of the NMSMF, has been asked to chair the Q&A.

Other films in the Festival include: “Standing on Their Shoulders”, a documentary on the historical journey of female resistance to apartheid.
