Design competition
The Design Competition to secure a sculptor for this important commission was launched in April 2025. We were delighted by the volume, variety and calibre of the design proposals received.
The Evaluation Panel met on the 19th of August. We were fortunate to have a professional panel with a wide range of artistic, architectural and engineering experience. The panel were able to reach a unanimous decision on the shortlist of 5 sculptors and we are now delighted to announce the shortlist.
