30,000 marched to Glasgow Green to demand Mandela’s release

Glasgow Green 198830 years ago on 12 June 1988 30,000 people marched to Glasgow Green to demand Nelson Mandela’s release and hear Oliver Tambo, Andimba Toivo ja Toivo, Allan Boesak, Trevor Huddleston and Bernie Grant speak. Jim Kerr @simplemindscom sang “Mandela Day”.
